General Summary:
The Clinical Director is responsible for all clinical services provided by ACR Health Services (ACR).

ACR provides a comprehensive range of services for the prevention, intervention, diagnosis, treatment and clinical supervision of behavioral and mental disorder services.

This position is responsible for ensuring quality therapeutic care to the clients while adhering to the federal and state licensing statures.

This position ensures that each client in the agency will receive quality therapeutic care in accordance with best practices of evidenced based treatment.

Responsible for overseeing and developing the Clinical Department including hiring, supervision, evaluation and scheduling. Also, responsible to develop, plan and implement strategies for program continuation and growth. This position provides clinical and personnel supervision and training of the clinical staff. Must have the ability to think globally, solve problems and have good decision-making skills, including critical thinking skills.
Supervises a multidisciplinary team to includes reregistered nurses, social workers, therapists, substance abuse professionals, peer specialists, vocational rehabilitation specialist, case managers and counselors.
Responsible for ensure ACR's clinical programs operates in compliance with the latest standards, to include: Georgia's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disorders (DBHDD) Provider Manual, Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS), Georgia Department of Community Health Drug Treatment and Education Program, The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and applicable insurance agencies.
Collaborates with staff psychiatrist on a frequent basis to address behavioral health needs to support the recovery process of individuals in treatment.
Ensures that an individual recovery plan is developed that fully addresses the behavioral health care needs identified through the assessment and diagnosis that results in an improvement in daily functioning for the child or adult client and is visible in measurable outcomes.
Provides case oversight and re-evaluation as necessary to ensure that the recovery needs of ACR's clients are being met. Utilizes standardized assessment and diagnostic tools at minimum to assure a comprehensive assessment occurs resulting in a diagnosis that is relevant to the child or adult client.
Make responsible referral decisions based on diagnosis, the need and strengths of the client.
Provide referral sources with all relevant information both verbally and in writing that supports the findings of the assessment, diagnosis, and the goals of the treatment plan.
Reviews progress during prescribed intervals. Re-refer cases as needed or authorizes services to continue if need be.
Provide ACR with all relevant documentation in a timely manner to complete appropriate billing of services.
Provide counseling and therapeutic services for individuals and families to enable them to meet their goals and to increase their quality of life related to their emotional, educational, medical, social and physical needs.
Assess, evaluate, and make recommendations for quality service delivery
Utilizing evidence supported treatment, conduct individual and family therapy sessions
Provide behavior management, education enhancement, social and coping skills building and/or resource development to assist families with increasing stability and crisis prevention
Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
