Maintenance Technician:
Education: High School Diploma or GED


Experience:
12 months work experience


Other:
Ability to complete floor maintenance duties. Ability to read and write and comprehend written instructions. Must be self-motivated and take pride in work; understand directions, organize and perform duties with minimum supervision.


QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:

  • Must be able to read, write, and do simple arithmetic.
  • Must have previous maintenance experience.
  • Must have the ability to work in Healthcare Group Home settings.
  • Must have a pleasant personality.
  • Must be able to follow directions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours helpful.
  • Responds as needed to weather emergencies.
  • Must have experience with general maintenance, carpentry machine repair, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or HVAC. and plumbing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift/carry objects up to 80 lbs.
  • Operate drills and other electrical equipment.
  • Climb ladders
  • Crawl through narrow openings.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Nonhazardous conditions.
  • May be in contact with body fluids when working with our People Persons.
May be exposed to infectious waste, disease, or other conditions


Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
