Duties and Responsibilities
- Answers and directs phone calls
- Organizes and schedules meetings and appointments
- Data Entry
- Maintains contact lists
- Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develops and maintains a filing system
- Orders and maintains breakroom and office supplies
- Books travel arrangements
- Submits and reconciles expense reports
- Greets and provides general support to visitors
- Organize office lunches
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
- Provide direct administrative, clerical or other support for providers, as necessary or requested
- Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
- Point of contact for office maintenance (i.e. copy machine)
- Point of contact for building management

Fast detail-oriented data entry specialist needed If this sounds like you, the Data Entry Specialist role at the Bethesda Dermatopathology Lab (BDL) may be the right fit.
We are a large and busy lab located in Silver Spring, MD and are seeking a full-time, motivated and proficient person to join our team.
Our job's goal is to provide high-quality patient care and you will help us achieve that by entering accurate patient demographics into our database in a timely manner.
This job is fast-paced and you must be self-motivated, while also having the ability to work as a team. This is a 3pm - 11pm shift so night owls rejoiceMinimum Requirements:
- Ability to process information and enter it with great accuracy, detailoriented is a MUST
- Fast typing skills (60+ wpm) are desirable, but fast learners will also be considered
- Must be selfmotivated, able to hold yourself accountable to complete your work
- As we are responsible for hundreds of skin samples daily, we need a timely and reliable worker
- Effective and strong communication skills needed
- Strong problemsolving skills greatly admired and needed for daytoday operations
- Knowledge of dermatology/medical terms a plus
- Basic understanding of legal and ethical issues concerning patient confidentiality
- Ability to work scheduled shift of Monday through Friday 3:00pm 11:00pm, and occasional flexibility to help cover absences if needed. If you are not a night person, this is not the job for you. You will need to be attentive to your work until the very end of your shift.
