As a
Business Coach at the Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC), you'll provide essential guidance and support to budding entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the complexities of starting and running a successful business.

This part-time role is perfect for those who thrive in a mentoring environment and have a passion for fostering the entrepreneurial spirit in others.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Business Plan Development:
Collaborate with clients to review and refine their business plans, ensuring clarity and feasibility.


Goal Setting:
Help clients set realistic, time-bound objectives and develop actionable steps to achieve these goals.


Accountability:
Keep clients motivated and on track with their business goals through regular check-ins and supportive feedback.


Problem Solving:
Assist clients in identifying and overcoming obstacles that impede business progress.


Resource Referral:
Direct clients to additional resources that can aid their business development and enhance their chances of success.


Additional Duties:
Take on special projects and tasks as needed to support our clients and improve our coaching services.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Experience:

At least two (2) years in direct business coaching or a related field, with a strong background in small business operations.


Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.


SKILLS:


  • Expertise in the business startup lifecycle and development strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and fundamental accounting principles/software.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage and inspire in oneonone settings.

Job Type:
Part-time

Expected hours: 20 per week


Experience:


  • Business coaching: 2 years (required)
- start up development: 2 years (preferred)


Ability to Commute:

  • Philadelphia, PA required)
