Summary

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the requirements gathering, fitgap analysis, design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support of D365 solutions
  • Troubleshoot and remediate technical Dynamics 365 issues, document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes
  • Manage entity ownership and properties; understand system and custom entities
  • Implement workflows; identify workflow types; implement dialogs and custom actions; identify when to use business process flows, workflow dialogs, and custom actions
  • Create business process flows; enable business process flows; work with steps, stages, and categories; work with multiple entities; use conditional branching; implement roledriven business process flows
  • Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's use at VDOT
  • Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage
  • Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs
  • Function as a liaison between IT and the business units; serve as a point of contact for issue logging, tracking, and resolution
  • Assist customers in discerning between Dynamics 365/PowerApps/Power Automate and other technology offerings when gathering requirements; identify efficient solutions and recommend alternatives to meet business needs
  • Contribute to improving processes and policies within the Business Enablement Services program

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of experience as a D365 Technical Lead
  • 8+ years of experience with creating and managing solutions using Dynamics 365 CRM Customer Service
  • 8+ years of experience with customization and implementation of Forms, Views, Plug-Ins, Workflows, and BPFs in D36 8+ years of custom development experience using.
NET, JavaScript, and C#

  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform and Dataverse
  • 3+ years of experience with using standard and premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate
  • Expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement
  • Customer Service and Power Apps/Automate development
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, development, deployment, and usage
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft's licensing model for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform

Preferred Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services
  • 2+ years of experience with DevOps in Power Platform/D365 Environments
  • 5+ years of experience with Data Integrations and Migrations using SSIS Packages
  • Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator)
