POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform
Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting
Promptly seat the guests by knowing seating availability and wait list; talk with guests on the way to the table
Provide menus and present specials to guests.
Stay available to guests and keep an eye out for servers who may need help
Ask guests about their meal and experience and thank them for coming in. Invite them to return.
Answer the telephone within 3 rings and ask permission to place on hold.
Help with bussing and resetting tables
Check restrooms for cleanliness every 30 minutes
Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift.
Using all tools provided by the manager keep the work area clean at all times.
Bring all items of concern to the attention of the manager immediately, especially safety concerns and customer service complaints
Know your duties and the duties of coworkers to maximize teamwork throughout the day.
Communicate effectively with other team members.
Have a positive attitude during your shift.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Basic reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
Mobility required during the entire shift
Work as part of a team and help in other areas if need be
