We are a high-volume Oncology/Hematology practice looking for a medical frontdesk receptionist to join our versatile, reliable, and committed team.

Must have a minimum of six months' experience working as a medical receptionist in a provider's office.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Computer skills required with accuracy and attention to detail. We are 100% electronic
  • Scheduling, checking patients in and out, and patient registration including collecting patient balances
  • Documenting into our EMR including Scanning & Faxing Documents, filing, etc.
  • Ability to operate multiline telephone system.
  • Excellent communication skills and works well with others
  • Wellorganized with attention to detail and problemsolving skills
  • Knowledge of the precertification, preauthorization and referral processes with insurance companies preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance and the differences between types of insurance & how to discuss with patients.
