Description
The Billing Coordinator is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely billing services to residents and their responsible parties.- Set up and maintain resident profiles in Point Click Care.
- Coordinate and collect accounts receivable and pastdue accounts from appropriate parties.
- Data entry for cash receipts, censusrelated information, and ancillary charges.
- Review policies and procedures with new residents.
- Answer resident and family inquiries regarding the billing of services and charges.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees, residents, visitors, and vendors.
- Responsible for general office functions, such as, filing, preparing, and mailing letters and resident billing statements, making copies (electronic and/or paper) of documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting with medical billing, accounts payable, and general accounting.
