Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy.
We currently have an opportunity for a PMO CDS Program Analyst I at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.***This position will be assigned to the CONSTELLATION class frigate PMO team. The Class Design Services (CDS) Program Analyst is an individual who analyzes and evaluates business operations, processes, and systems to identify areas for improvement. This position will use data analysis techniques to gather and interpret data to provide recommendations for efficiencies and cost savings. The CDS Program Analyst will work with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives and develop solutions that align with those goals. Additionally, program analysts may be responsible for managing budgets and resources to ensure that programs are completed on time and within budget. The CDS Program Analyst assists project managers in identifying areas in need of improvement by compiling data, analyzing the information, and making recommendations to project managers. Finally, the CDS Program Analyst will create, update, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all Non-Construction activities such as Engineering and Class Services, Post Delivery Availability support, Product Life-Cycle Support/Sustainment services, Office of Naval Research Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) projects, and Surface Combatant Industrial Base (SCIB) projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Solve programmatic issues
- supported by a data-driven process - under the guidance of CDS project managers.
- Develop KPIs to support company goals track and report progress by monitoring KPIs.
- May be required to lead or participate in process improvement projects.
- Oversee the preparation of associated reports, charts, and graphs on program, project, or contract status; make presentations to the Program Manager to keep him/her apprised.
- Have excellent written and verbal skills to interface with all levels of the organization through the attendance of meetings and written memos.
- Maintain/monitor management control requirements for designated contracts, programs, projects and/or tasks.
- Support the assessment of financial impact of project status to budget.
- Provide support and training to relevant personnel to use the computer programs designed effectively.
- Determine returnoninvestment and conduct business case analysis.
- Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.
