    **Description**

    Under direct supervision, you will:

    Help collect, prepare, and organize data and information on research or contracting activities in state departments of transportation (DOTs).

    Prepare charts and preliminary analysis to support interviews with research and engineering stakeholders.

    Contribute to a literature review and desk scan on transportation engineering research efforts.

    Support other project tasks as necessary.

Additionally, upon graduation, interns with outstanding performance frequently move into full-time positions at ARA.

    **Requirements:**

    Must be pursuing study in civil engineering, construction management, urban planning, business, or public administration. Course experience in transportation-specific programs preferred.

    Must be available and willing to work during the school year and during summer months as needed.

    Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Familiarity with database design is preferred.
