Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Set-Up Operator to join our team.

As a CNC Set-Up Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts and components according to specifications.

Your attention to detail and ability to work with precision will be essential in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final products.

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC mill machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting (DMG-Mori, Brother, Haas experience preferred)
• Preform changeovers on mill machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and other accessories
• Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the production process
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to ensure proper operation
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a CNC Set-Up Operator or similar role
• Proficient in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with EdgeCam Software a plus
• Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
• Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable
