About Atria Health:


Atria Health Partners with Cardiology practices to improve patient care, physician satisfaction, and operational effectiveness by continuous improvement of their existing practices and launching new ventures.

Atria Health has a partnership with AMS Cardiology, a leading cardiology practice in the Horsham, PA area.

Atria Health and AMS Cardiology launched a PET/CT program in Horsham in January of 2024. This location offers state-of-the-art technology and service quality to patients at a location which is convenient and cost efficient.

This location will include PET/CT nuclear imaging program to quickly and accurately identify patients who are at-risk of life-threatening conditions (e.g., heart attacks) without requiring inpatient catheterization procedures.


Job Summary:

The PET/CT will be a non-exempt hourly position based in Horsham PA. The PET/CT will report directly to the PET/CT Practice Manager.


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Performing Cardiac PET/CT scans
  • Ensuring patient safety during procedure
  • Qualifying and calibrating equipment before patients arrive in the care center.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals safely
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Explaining procedure to patients
  • Maintain certification and continued education.
  • Ensure safety checklists according to protocols.
  • Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated items.
  • Provide patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights.
  • Escalate to a physician if an emergency occurs during a procedure.
  • Full Covid vaccination preferred but not required.
  • Able to perform calcium scoring on Saturday mornings.

Education and experience:


  • Bachelor's degree (preferred not required) in radiologic technology, nuclear medicine technology, or a related field
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic CT Technologist ARRT (CT) (preferred not required)
  • At least 2 years onthejob experience for nuclear imaging required
  • At least 1year onthejob experience in PET/CT preferred

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk or patient room
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to stand, reach, twist, and turn, often from a sitting position.
  • Must be able to walk to and from different areas in the office.
  • Must be able to operate keypad devices associated with office equipment.
