The Children and Youth Support Association South is a youth welfare institution of the EJF with 204 places in regular groups, therapeutic residential groups for specific target groups, mother-child living, family-like residential groups, groups with unsupervised times, and supported individual living.

In addition, there are offers for low-threshold youth vocational assistance, outpatient services according to the Youth Court Act and for conflict resolution, as well as school social work.


In the Intensive Pedagogical Residential Group (WGEB) Klausenerplatz, seven children and adolescents between the ages of 6-16 are cared for.

The pedagogical care is provided by 5.5 educators in a 24-hour shift system. The WGEB offers a framework with high relationship continuity and sees itself as a socially integrated, family-like living model.

The goal of the work in the WGEB is to provide children and adolescents with a safe and nurturing environment where they can feel comfortable and develop.


We are looking for you to start on June 1, 2024, in full-time (38.5 hours/week) and on an indefinite basis.


Your tasks include:

  • Accompanying and supporting children and adolescents in daily life as well as in leisure and holiday activities
  • Implementation of care plans in cooperation with those involved
  • Collaboration with families, parental work, involvement of relatives and peer groups
  • Cooperation with schools and other psychosocial institutions
