Camp Counselor - Laurel, United States - Terrapin STEM Camp

Description

Terrapin STEM Camp is looking to hire camp counselors for the following dates:
June 24, August 2, 2024; Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. There is no camp on Thursday, July 4, 2024.

Daily responsibilities for a camp counselor involve the day-to-day operation of a camp classes during hours of operation


Basic responsibilities include:

• Instructing STEM projects
• Supervising campers during activities
• Communicating with parents
• Ensuring student pickups and dropoffs are regulated
• Supervising attendance
• Administering first aid
• Overseeing cleanup after an activity is completed
• Working with Junior Camp Counselors
• Coordinating with the Camp Executive Director

College students majoring in Education, Science, or Engineering are strongly encouraged to apply

Pay:
$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
