- Set music therapy treatment goals post-assessment process
- Collaborate with team members to develop treatment plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Create musical interventions for various domains
- Facilitate experiences to achieve goals
- Work closely with families to understand their needs
- Contribute to program development and educate stakeholders on home programs
- Expect to provide direct patient care hours weekly, excluding administrative tasks
- Occasional physical requirements such as standing, walking, and lifting
- Board certification as a Music Therapist-Board Certified (MT-BC)
- Bachelor's degree and experience working with children
- Proficiency in guitar, piano, and voice
- Strong clinical skills and willingness to learn
- Passion for working with children and a multi-disciplinary team
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and software systems
