- Assisting in the development and implementation of an innovative daily program for residents
- Leading and assisting innovative parallel programming to meet the varying and ever-changing needs of the resident population including one-on-ones, small, and large groups on Harbor and Assisted Living.
- Supports the resident's abilities by understanding that all aspects of care can be viewed as an activity demonstrating a positive attitude.
- Communicates any changes in the resident's condition or behavior pattern to Director and works well in a team dynamic.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and utilize downtime to complete varying administrative tasks or resident signature programs. Shows a consistent ability to coordinate multiple tasks and works well under pressure.
- Must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of aging and disability issues.
- Must be qualified by experience and training to develop programs appropriate for elders and disabled individuals.
- Possesses training and knowledge in recreational activities
- Possesses training and knowledge of Alzheimer's and related dementias
- Shows a consistent ability to coordinate multiple tasks, demonstrates a positive attitude, and works well under pressure
