Intermediate Software Implementation Specialist**:

The Software Implementation Specialist (SIS) will work as a member of the Litigation team. The SIS is responsible for delivering contracted products and services such as reports, business rules, and general software configuration.

The SIS will interact with customers as a primary representative for Journal Technologies as well as coordinate and complete a variety of activities in the configuration process.

The Software Implementation Specialist will be a standing expert on Journal Technologies' Product offerings, our internal implementation processes, and the customer's business processes.


Responsibilities:


  • Configure case management software using builtin administrative user interface including forms (screens), searches, and workflow
  • Creates business rules within the software using Groovy and Velocity
  • Gathers specifications for and reviews data conversion
  • Actively works on document/report specification gathering, development and review
  • Conducts onsite administrative and user training and golive assistance
  • Java fluency
  • Knowledge of Windows Serverbased environments and networks
  • Knowledge of interfacing with REST and SOAP APIs

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, and knowledge of project management principles.
  • 3+ years of professional, fulltime experience with querying relational databases, preferably TSQL or PL/SQL
  • Proven experience as an Implementation Specialist, preferably within a similar environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands
  • Knowledgeable on most: (Microsoft SQL database or Oracle database, and report software such as Jasper or Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL reporting services, Java, Groovy, and Velocity)
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish tasks
  • Must be able to recognize basic procedural issues as they arise, then escalate appropriately
  • Proficiency in the latest web technologies and working knowledge of various operating systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and time management skills.
  • Topnotch interpersonal abilities.
  • Affinity for multitasking with precision.
  • Ability to travel to client sites.
