Job Purpose:


The Brand and Graphic Designer is responsible for executing brand and graphic-related projects to support our customer and company's strategic business goals.

These projects center mostly around packaging development.

This person will be expected to bring creativity, innovation and ownership to projects and will collaborate with their functional partners and internal teams to work through projects from concept to completion.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop quality designdriven solutions, on time and within budget, to solve for business opportunities.
  • Provide designrelated sales support to help sell design capabilities and custom solutions.
  • Work with team members and project managers to prioritize projects and workload.
  • Work with external customer teams to ensure project success.
  • Develop presentations and present work to internal groups and customers.
  • Interpret customer feedback and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Stay current with marketplace trends, software updates, industry standards and technology developments and reflect marketplace and design trends in work.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in brand and graphic design (or relevant level of talent + experience).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proactive, results and detail oriented.
  • Ability to build trust with the team and partners.
  • Fundamental understanding of:
- graphic design.
- brand strategy.
- retail & e-commence design.
- packaging design and print production.
- retail display and fixture design.

  • Basic understanding of packaging qualification standards (ISTA, ASTM).
  • Adobe Creative Suite.

Work Experience:


  • 13 years of related job experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
  • Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).
  • Strong planning and organization skills are required.

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
