- Work on energy-related projects with a focus on power generation
- Assist with leading civil site engineering tasks and projects
- Assist with interfacing with clients on civil site tasks
- Assist with leading and developing assigned project teams
- Assist with development of civil site proposals
- Assist with task management on assigned projects (schedules, budgets, and quality of work)
- Site Grading Plans
- Erosion and Sediment Control Plans
- Stormwater Management Plans
- Hydrologic and Hydraulic / Drainage Plans
- Utility Design and Relocation Plans
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Plans
- Geotechnical Investigations
- Permit Applications (earth disturbance permits, building permits, land development plans, high occupancy permits, etc.)
- Access Road Section Development
- Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Quality Control Plans
- Construction Cost Estimates
- Owner's Engineer Support During Construction
- Field Investigations
- The candidate should have the desire and ability to travel to Project sites, as needed, primarily in the mid-west and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.

This position is based out of our Louisville, KY office, working a variety of projects around Kentucky and surrounding states. We are searching for an energetic, outgoing person to support projects associated with power stations, roadways, landfills, renewable energy, and abandoned mine land reclamation projects. GAI Consultants, Inc. offers its employees, upon approval by supervisors, the ability to work remotely or in a hybrid setting. Education Bachelors of Environmental Engineering (preferred)
Bachelors of Civil Engineering (preferred)
Bachelors of Engineering (required)
Experience Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D. (preferred)
