Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Collections Clerk to join our team. As a Collections Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. Your role will involve negotiating payment arrangements, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.


Duties:

• Contact customers to collect outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans
• Maintain accurate records of all collection activities
• Update customer information and billing records as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements:

• Previous experience in collections preferred
• Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate with customers and secure payment commitments
• Proficient in math calculations
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
• Experience in telemarketing or phonebased customer interactions is a plus
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
