PAATC's Naaman Center has an opening for a full time Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) at our Lancaster, PA location. Benefits are provides for full time employees.

Certified Recovery Specialist certification from PA certification board required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Recovery Planning facilitate (via personal coaching) the transition from a professionally directed service plan to a self-directed Recovery Plan. The goal should be to transition from professionally assisted recovery initiation to personally directed, community supported recovery maintenance.
• Promote self-advocacy by assisting recovering persons to have their voices fully heard; their needs, goals and objectives established as the focal point of rehabilitation and clinical services.
• Actively identify and support linkages to community resources (communities of recovery, educational, vocational, social, cultural, spiritual resources, mutual self

- help groups, professional services, etc.) that support the recovering person's goals and interests.

• Support connections to community based, mutual self-help groups. Link individuals to appropriate professional resources when needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in human servicerelated field or demonstrated relevant experience with drug/alcohol recovery. Licensing and/or credentialing in the addiction field preferred.
• Experience with community engagement and outreach, program development and implementation.
• Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check, The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Criminal History Background Check required.
• If in recovery, 2 years sobriety
