Field Service Technician

Summary

Fruth Group is looking for a Phoenix-based, experienced printer and copier technician.

The primary duties of Fruth Group Field service technicians are to maintain the mechanical hardware for copiers, printers, scanners, facsimiles, and other multi-function machinery.

Represent Fruth Group by providing excellent customer service when traveling to offsite customer locations and resolving issues promptly. This position reports to the Director of Service Operations and branch Service Manager.


Responsibilities:

• Practice time management and customer service skills by responding to an offsite customer base in allotted windows of 24 hours.
• Maintain mechanical hardware for copiers, printers, scanners, and multifunction machines from leading manufacturers.
• Primarily focus on individual components when servicing machines, avoiding whole assemblies when possible.
• Possess the correct tools, at all times, for servicing equipment.
• Update and document service maintenance, parts manuals, and machine firmware.
• Understand diverse manufacturer software and use window's experience to install drivers.
• Keep Car stock inventory maintained accurately and concisely and report any discrepancies immediately. Protect inventory by keeping the vehicle locked and secured.
• Accurately provide monthly reports, including vehicle inspection forms and companyissued credit card usage receipts if applicable.
• Follow the manufacturersuggested maintenance schedule for those with company vehicles.
• Cultivate good internal communication, including management, fellow technicians, and sales representatives.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in copier and printer service
• Windows experience 1 year
• Experience with Voltage Meters
• Customer service, communication, problemsolving, and time management skills
• Minimum Education: high school or GED

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift forty pounds unassisted.
• Ability to bend, crouch, walk, climb, carry, and kneel for continuous periods of time.

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour
