Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Test & Service Technician to join our team.
As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products through testing and analysis.
This is a crucial role in our manufacturing process, as you will play a key part in delivering high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, align, troubleshoot, and test ball grid array (BGA) installation and removal machines prior to shipment.
- Assist in creating and maintaining production cell work instructions.
- Participate in the assembly of PACE products as needed.
- Help manage software and driver revisions.
- Collaborate with Engineering and productioncell to identify and address issues.
- Assist with product transition from engineering development to production.
- Work from approved drawings and specifications to inspect components for quality assurance (QA).
- Periodically checks the accuracy and calibration of instruments used by PACE's QA program.
- Provide service and warranty support to PACE's customers and sales channels.
- Undertakes such additional responsibilities as directed or required.
Experience:
- Technical school certificate or associate degree in a technology field or three to five years of technical experience.
- Strong electronic, mechanical, and assembly skills including the ability to build a circuit assembly from a schematic diagram.
- Must possess basic math skills including algebra and geometry and to be able to graph and interpret data.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, height gages, surface gages and other metrology instruments.
- Experience using ERP/MRP system is a plus.
Pay:
$72,000.00 per year
