    Description
    *Controls Engineer

    • Controls Engineer
    * $90,000 - $125,000

    • Days, Mon-Fri
    • Manufacturer of Automation Systems/Equipment
    • Rochester, NY

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, specify and integrate electrical and pneumatic control system components for custom automated machinery
    • Create AutoCad drawings for control designs
    • Design and program software for PLC and HMI systems
    • Capability to program drive systems and vision systems
    • Actively participate in the power up, debug and customer acceptance of machines
    • Write machine function manuals as required
    • Create final documentation of projects

    Skillset:

    • Experience in all aspects of custom machine control design including concept, specification, design, drawing creation, programming, powerup and customer acceptance
    • Experience selecting and designing hardware to control and monitor machinery or industrial processes
    • Allen Bradley PLCs, including Micrologix and SLC, CompactLogix and ControlLogix
    • Allen Bradley HMI competence including Panelview and Panelview Plus
    • Communication Networks including Ethernet, DH+, DeviceNet
    • Siemens PLCs and HMIs
    • Servo system experience
    • VFD drives

    This role is commutable from:

    Rochester, Westgate, North Chili, Churchville, Spencerport, Adams Basin, Ridgemont, Bergen, Brockport, Brighton, Genesee Junction, Scottsville, West Henrietta, Clifton and Belcoda.
