This role will be our primary interface to candidates, providing them with information about our positions and building a relationship with them throughout the recruiting process.
You'll be building and leading recruiting strategies that generate diverse pipelines across a broad range of industries. This role includes all aspects of requisition management from posting, sourcing, screening, submittal, through to an offer. Our goal is to create relational engagements vs transactional engagements. In addition, this role will help identify and share practices that can scale our team's growth efforts.We view this role as a strategic partner to our clients that are invested in building or sustaining equitable and inclusive workplaces via contract, contract-to-hire, and/or direct-hire positions.
What You'll Be Doing:
Recruit with an equity lens that engages talent across diverse and historically underrepresented demographics
Identify and maintain a diverse network of community partners that engage with potential candidates that have been historically excluded
Champion equitable and inclusive sourcing, interview, and hiring practices
Maintain a top-tier candidate journey with consistent communication throughout the recruiting process
Maintain and nurture client relationships including but not limited to assisting to resolve issues identified during the recruiting process or once candidates are placed at client sites, regular status check-ins, consistent professional communication, and onsite visits as needed
Accurately create and maintain job postings in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and on various job posting websites
Actively source and maintain pipelines for various roles
Prescreen applicants against open positions, or conduct a general screen to get them into our database for future opportunities
Analyze data on job postings and make suggestions to increase applicant pipeline
Provide client account oversight as necessary including but not limited to regular client meetings and communication, approving timecards, employee communication and performance check-ins.
Attend job fairs and community events to increase and attract a more diverse candidate poolResearch and make suggestions on more inclusive job descriptions
Participate in functional team meetings to develop strategic plans
Address escalated client issues
Define and track recruitment goals, inform coworkers about progress on goals, impact metrics in a positive direction
Represent Cinder at different events and through community boards/committees
Partner with peers to ensure alignment throughout the client journey
About You:
3+ years of recruiting experience (ideal candidate has worked in staffing and on tech recruitments)
Experience living or working within communities of color
Share our passion for diversifying the workforce
Experience sourcing for hard to fill roles
Experience with applicant tracking systems
Must have a tolerance for ambiguity
Must be internet savvy and have experience in developing and maintaining diverse networks
Ability to establish a strong rapport with candidates, community partners, and team members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Be flexible, coachable, and willing to propose ideas
Must have attention to detail
Sense of urgency; ability to execute quickly and efficiently
Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
