What is my role?


As a Master Data Manager at Hybrid Apparel, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our organization's master data.

You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across various departments and systems.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across various systems and processes for informed decision-making.

This role involves collaborating with different departments to establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.


What You'll Do

Master Data Management:


  • Establish, develop, and maintain a comprehensive master data management strategy, including data models, hierarchies, and taxonomies.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and retirement of master data records.
  • Coordinate with different departments to define and maintain a centralized master data repository.

Data Governance:


  • Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security.
  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality and integrity of master data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and enforce data standards and best practices.

Data Quality Management:


  • Implement data quality assurance processes and tools to identify and rectify data errors and inconsistencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of master data, identifying and resolving data quality issues.
  • Establish data quality metrics and regularly report on the accuracy and completeness of master data.

Data Analysis:


  • Analyze master data and identify trends and patterns that can be used to improve business processes and decisionmaking.

Data Integration:


  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of master data across various systems and platforms.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of master data across various systems and platforms.
  • Implement and maintain data integration processes to support business operations.

Collaboration:


  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and ensure that the MDM solution meets their needs.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including IT, finance, sales, and operations, to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT for master datarelated issues.

Training and Communication:


  • Provide training to endusers on data entry and maintenance best practices.
  • Communicate data governance policies and updates to relevant stakeholders.

Compliance and Security:


  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data definitions, data lineage, and data governance procedures.
  • Collaborate with thirdparty vendors and service providers to ensure data quality and adherence to data standards.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and implement security measures to protect sensitive master data.
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to address data privacy and security concerns.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Management, Business Administration). Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in master data management, data governance, or a related role.
  • Experience in the apparel industry.
  • Strong understanding of data management & governance principles, practices, and technologies.
  • System proficiency and awareness: ERP, WMS, BI Platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong Proficiency in analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
  • Experience with data management software and tools (e.g., MDM systems, data integration tools) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and tech
