Summary:

Responsible for assisting with all Material Movement in assigned areas.


Education:

High school graduate or equivalent


Experience:


  • General knowledge of warehouse operations with at least 1yr of experience
  • An understanding of basic mathematic functions
  • 6 months to 1 year forklift experience operating material handling equipment, such as Pallet Jacks and Stand-Up Reach Forklifts

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Able to pass forklift certification training onsite.
  • Demonstrate competency when using scales, compactors, shrink wrap and strapping machines, computers (both PC and RF) and other hand tools
  • Individuals should exhibit strong organizational skills
  • Possess intermediate written and oral English communication skills

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Must be knowledgeable of the part identification system, specialty codes and part revisions
  • Complies with all quality assurance procedures and policies to ensure best quality product output
  • Strives to improve departmental efficiencies and reduce cost through continuous improvement
  • Must be knowledgeable of and comply with the Company's policies and procedures
  • Adheres to established inventory control systems and computer tracking along with the requirement of being a member of the Inventory department's ICE team
  • Maintains a clean and safe warehouse and working environment
  • Fosters goodwill with all internal and external customers
  • Responsible for all Wilden manufactured, purchased and consignment material movement throughout the facility (in both XA system and physically)
  • Completes and maintains a variety of measurements, reports, records and documentation
  • Must manage picking location inventory for all Wilden manufactured, purchased and consignment material (nonconsignment and consignment report, cycle counting, etc.)
  • Work overtime as required
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
