Duties
&
Responsibilities:
  • Assists youth in modifying attitudes and behaviors, fostering self
  • understanding.
Ensures adherence to Individual Service Plans, point and level systems, and behavior mentorship plans. Supervises and prioritizes the safety of youth during shifts and offsite activities. Documents incidents and maintain accurate communication logs promptly. Provides guidance, support, and positive role modeling in the milieu. Engages in household responsibilities, contributing to a clean and organized environment


Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent degree Minimum of (1) year experience with youth in casework, human services, or related field, and/or equivalent education and experience. A minimum of HS diploma plus 5 years of experience may be required by the funder Fluency in a second language may be required


Certifications/Licenses:

CPI and CPR Certification required but will be received during the training phase.

  • Willingness to participate in recreational and therapeutic activities.
  • Flexibility to attend training sessions outside regular hours

Training & Development:

During your first two weeks you will attend a training program to become acquainted with the Safety Program and Operations as well as an overview of the Heartland Human Care Services Organization. Annually you will participate in essential trainings Additionally, Heartland offers several online courses for professional development
