Candidates should be based in Michigan and should be prepared to operate on a hybrid model.
Qualifications and Experience
Agile methodology expertise

Significant automotive industry experience
Experience in application development/delivery
Proven competence in cross-functional technical collaboration

Knowledge of Telematics architecture and solutioning

Level II Responsibilities
In addition to the skills outlined above, the Level II IT Project Manager will be
Responsible for writing product specifications, creating and executing against the project plan, proactive risk mitigation, and managing the software development life cycle from inception to production launch and post-production support.
Collaborating with project managers to establish plans and goals for each project, setting objectives, assigning tasks, allocating budgets and agreeing on timetables for achieving intermediate and overall goals.
Consulting with internal departments to implement effective solutions, including new functionality, feature enhancements and code modifications to optimize application technical architecture for stability, reliability, and scalability.
Collaborating with Product Management and business owners to define the Product Vision, including strategies for utilizing and managing incoming data.
Providing technical direction to the Connected Services development team, supporting customer web portals and architecture through the outlining of "stories" and sprints.
In addition to the responsibilities of Level II, the Level III IT Project Manager will
Report to senior executives on the progress of individual projects and the overall program.
Participate in the creation of individual project budgets and prepare cost estimates for the program, whilst managing program budget to conform to policy.
Interface with application developers to coordinate system implementation and releases.
Provide high-quality service to business customers as a primary support contact for applications.
Oversee the 24x7 Application Management Support (AMS) team responsible for level-2 and 3 support of telematics operations, focusing on addressing outages/issues, making business-critical decisions and leading technical solutions.
