    Overview

    TalentFish is casting a line for a Sr Backend Engineer. This is a remote direct hire role. This is a pivotal technical leadership role, crafting an immersive and user-friendly healthcare app using ReactJS, Firebase, and

    What You Bring To The Role.

    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science from a reputable college.
    5+ years of industry experience in building scalable real-time systems.
    2+ years of experience with a public cloud (GCP / AWS / Azure), with a preference for GCP.
    Expert-level proficiency in , JavaScript, Python, and Java.
    Hands-on experience building Real-time Streaming APIs using technologies such as WebSocket, gRPC, WebRTC, etc.
    Familiarity with web telephony, VoIP, virtual PBX, contact/call-center services, CTI (Computer Telephony Integration), SIP, and related technologies.
    Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and CS concepts, including asynchronous processing, multi-threading, queuing, pub-sub, etc.
    Experience with technologies used in scalable systems, such as Pub-sub, NoSQL, Object stores, Data warehouses, Caching, and Logging.
    Proven track record in developing large-scale web-based APIs, Platforms, and Services (SaaS/PaaS).
    Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
    Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.

    Nice To Have

    Experience with Machine Learning pipelines.
    Background in Healthcare.
    Knowledge of HIPAA or other regulatory standards.
    Full-stack development experience.

    What You'll Do.

    Architect a secure, scalable, and highly available Streaming API layer for public consumption.
    Offer strategic guidance on the technology stack for a cloud-neutral platform.
    Integrate seamlessly with contact-center services employed by partners, including Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Ring Central, Twilio, etc.
    Lead and mentor the backend engineering team, fostering growth among junior engineers.
    Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders from Product, Business Development, and Customer Success.
    Play a pivotal role in the operation of the service, ensuring adherence to SLA.
