Job Summary:

The Circulating RN at Mission Community Hospital will provide exemplary patient care by circulating and scrubbing for cases and procedures within the surgical environment.

The position is a full-time, individual contributor role based in Panorama City, California.

Responsibilities:

Scrub and Circulate for a variety of surgical cases and procedures
Monitor and report changes in patient condition
Provide professional and compassionate patient care
Perform pre and postoperative teaching
Assist with patient transfers
Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols
Monitor and maintain OR instruments and equipment
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Registered Nursing license in the State of California
At least two years of experience in surgical and perioperative nurse role
Ability to read, interpret and follow physicians' orders
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Ability to handle high stress situations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
