Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes
- Operate coffeemaking equipment including espresso machines and grinders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Interact with customers to take orders, answer questions, and provide recommendations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Uphold food safety standards in food preparation and storage
- Assist in stocking and replenishing cafe items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service
- Opening and Closing of coffee shopt
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred
Order Taking and Cash Handling: Efficiently take orders and process payments using a point-of-sale system. Manage cash drawer and ensure transactions are correct.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing payments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment within the food industry

From $16.00 per hour
