The Sales Executive (SE) is a key customer facing sales professional who is responsible for generating sales in a defined territory.

This territory will include Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The SE's primary objective is to increase originations for their specific branch.

The SE will be responsible for increasing originations through signing up new customers as well as encouraging high utilization within the current customer base.

The SE must have strong sales skills and the ability to build professional relationships with current and potential floorplan customers.

The SE will work closely with the branch Business Developer to set weekly goals and expectations, plan daily activities, and achieve budget goals.

Essential Duties:


  • Develop organized processes for generating new business from potential customers.
  • Develop organized processes for increasing utilization from current customers.
  • Must become familiar with our sales software to track potential leads and daily activity.
  • Build customer prospect lists through cold calling, market research, and referral follow ups.
  • Conduct cold calls to solicit new relationships.
  • Follow up on potential leads daily and record sales notes in our system.
  • Attend local auctions to increase the presence and visibility of AXLE Funding.
  • Participate in and support national AXLE Funding campaigns and promotions.
  • Maintain professional relationships with current and prospective customers to encourage repeat business and generate referrals.
  • Maintain good relationships with Auction Staff to preserve a healthy partnership and ensure success.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Corporate Management.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:


  • High School Diploma required, College degree preferred
  • Two (2) years of proven success in a sales oriented capacity
  • Previous experience in auto or finance industry a plus
  • Ability to work well with team members, other branches and auction employees
  • Effective communication and organizational skills required
  • Ability to manage and resolve problems and complaints
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
  • Basic computer software skills required knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Internet
