The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a BCN Contract Administrator.
The BCN Contract Administrator will be responsible for supervision of purchasing staff members' performance, ensuring compliance to all BCN policies, NSHE policies, State of Nevada laws and codes and Federal regulations and guidelines.
The BCN Contract Administrator will serve as primary purchasing contract liaison, serve as the subject matter expert for the most complex contracts, ensuring contract review is complete and thorough and all ancillary departments are included when appropriate.
The BCN Contract Administrator will backup departmental operations in the event the Director and Assistant Director are both out of office, or otherwise unavailable.
This position will report to the Director.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of professional related work experience;
OR
Master's degree and two (2) years of related professional work experience
Related Experience:
Working in procurement and contract management for a college, university, governmental entity or related.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in public sector purchasing and contract management.
Certification and Licensure
Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
