- The City of San Luis Arizona is seeking a Recreation Assistant for the upcoming summer season of 2024.
- Applicants must be available to work from June 3, 2024, to August 30, 2024.
As the Recreation Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting recreation coordinators with special events, sports leagues, tournaments, and recreation programs.
- Providing front-line customer service for facility reservations, information, and event participants.
- Enforcing safety rules and regulations while monitoring facility security.
- Assisting in program instruction, maintenance of equipment, and facility cleaning.
- Overseeing daily operations, assisting with event preparation, and performing related duties.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate should:
- Possess knowledge of general calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Have the ability to work independently or collaboratively, communicate effectively, and follow recreation policies.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and adapt to varying schedules.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED:
- Valid Arizona Driver's License.
- Must pass a physical test.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Relevant experience in recreation or customer service.
- First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
- Fingerprint clearance card required.
Desired:
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Residency within 25 miles of San Luis and within the US.
