As we expand our catering services, we are seeking enthusiastic and professional individuals to join us as Catering Servers, delivering exceptional service at events and gatherings.


As a Catering Server at Chat Genie Café, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our catering events by providing exceptional service to our clients and their guests.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up catering equipment, tables, and chairs according to event specifications.
  • Assisting with food preparation, including plating dishes and arranging buffet stations.
  • Serving food and beverages to guests at events, ensuring all items are presented neatly and accurately.
  • Assisting with clearing tables, removing used dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the event.
  • Providing attentive and courteous service to guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
  • Assisting with packing up equipment and cleaning up after events, ensuring all areas are left clean and tidy.
  • Collaborating with the catering team to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience for clients and guests.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry trays of dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with setting up and breaking down catering equipment.
  • Enthusiasm for providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
