Job Description:
Professionals in the transportation industry work in the driving service and customer service areas.

They operate trams or buses in shift work and are assigned to the depots for planning tram arrivals and departures.

In the traffic control center, they coordinate tram traffic during disruptions and assist customers and drivers with any problems that may arise.

Duration and Process:
The training program lasts for three years. During this time, you will alternate between practical and theoretical training. During your practical training, you will work and be trained in the subsidiary companies of Stadtwerke Halle. The theoretical lessons will take place at a corresponding vocational school.

Salary:
The amount of your training salary depends on which subsidiary company of Stadtwerke you are assigned to. There is a valid collective agreement in place that also regulates the training salary.

Career Opportunities:

After completing the training as a professional in the transportation industry, you can further your education and become a traffic supervisor, tram driving instructor, sales consultant, or certified traffic management specialist.
