- Must be a graduate from a medical laboratory technician program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Services (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT) and American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Possess and maintain current, certification as determined by the ASCP or AMT as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
- Minimum of one year of experience within the past five years.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and individual must demonstrate ability to initiate CPR in event of respirator or cardiopulmonary arrest.
- Drug Testing: The MLT will undergo a drug test prior to employment and random drug testing during the life of the contract.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Job Description
Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a Medical Laboratory Technician at Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, New York. This is a temporary position for approximately 6 to 12 weeks.
Independently conduct clinic/laboratory front desk operations and patient sign-in.
Manage patient results status by verifying and certifying results input into laboratory computer system.
Phlebotomy: Perform phlebotomy on individuals as directed by laboratory management staff. Select proper type of anticoagulants and amount of blood to be drawn. Selects proper type of anticoagulants and amount of blood to be drawn. Use needle and syringe, Vacutainer, or butterfly techniques, and labels, as appropriate.
Maintains workload accounting system, inventory and ordering procedures.
Utilize the MHS Genesis electronic healthcare system for maintaining patient data.
Participates in the orientation of new employees.
Works independently under the general supervision of the appropriate credentialed and/or licensed personnel for clinical matters and the clinic Health Systems Specialist for administrative matters.
Supports College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation for the Pathology Division and participates in the CAP external survey program.
