    Job Description and Duties

    Position location: DSH - Coalinga

    Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs complex, technical analytical staff service assignments like preparing reports, analyzing data, and presenting ideas and recommendations on procedures, policies, and program alternatives effectively. Reviews and analyzes complex proposed legislation, advises management on potential impacts, makes decisions on complex transactions, prepares correspondence, monitors, tracks, and initiates court commitment Forensic Reports. Ability to read and interpret California Penal Code; Welfare and Institution Code; Case Law and Court Orders. May act as a lead Subject Matter Expert (SME).

    Working Conditions

    The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in various settings throughout the hospital, may work overtime and float to other locations as needed. All employees must have an annual health review and additional health reviews as necessary to ensure they are free from infection symptoms and can safely perform essential job duties.
