Prudential Hospice is seeking
Quality Assurance RN to become a part of a great team. We provide Hospice professionals for the local area including Hawthorne, San Pedro, Torrance, Rancho Palos Verde, Lomita, Redondo Beach, Harbor City, Carson. Our Hospice jobs are for individuals who are truly committed to providing compassionate care to senior adults and those in need.

Schedule:
Three Days A Week 8 Hour Days

Qualifications Of The Quality Assurance RN:

One (1) years' nursing experience, preferred.
Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency.
Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.

Salary: $ $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Three Days A Week 8 Hour Days

Responsibilities Of The Quality Assurance RN:

Review and audit start of care and recertification records to ensure timely and accurate documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.
Provides feedback to staff regarding corrections and education to ensure future compliance.
Reviews medical and billing records to evaluate utilization of services, quality of care and compliance with Medicare CoPs, CHAP, and state regulations.
Identifies pertinent trends, variances, and special occurrences that impact quality and/or cost. Develops action plans for identified problem areas.
Leads the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.
Facilitates the performance improvement process by participating in focus studies to evaluate for quality issues.
Participates in the coordination and development of policies and procedures to ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements and department needs.
Interfaces closely with the clinical management team to discuss utilization of service issues, documentation issues and policy/procedure issues.
Participates in educational opportunities related to utilization review and documentation issues.
Collaboratively participates in the development of and coordinates the implementation of educational programs to address staff members' needs and to meet regulatory requirements.
