Quality Inspector at our facility in Tustin, CA. We offer a

Position Overview:


Key Job Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, parts, and assemblies according to established procedures and specifications in a high paced work environment.
  • Perform inprocess inspections at various stages of production to identify and address any quality issues or deviations from requirements.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify critical dimensions and tolerances.
  • Document inspection results, including nonconformances and corrective actions, in accordance with established quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with production personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve qualityrelated issues and implement process improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, conducting audits, and participating in corrective action activities as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 25 years' experience in quality assurance or inspection, preferably in an aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, or manufacturing industry environment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate and thorough inspections using various measurement tools and equipment. CMM Experience may be advantageous but are not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., MIL-STD).
  • Relevant certifications in quality assurance, inspection techniques, or industryspecific certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector (CQI), ASQ Certified Quality Inspector, J-STD 001, IPC 600, IPC 610, & IPC 620) may be advantageous but are not always required.
