Drain Medic / RxPlumbing is a Service and Repair Plumbing Co, serving San Diego County for over 30 years. We are up to date with the latest technologies and business practices.We are looking for a skilled accounting team member. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions, primarily Payroll, Invoicing, Accounts payable, and receivable. Familiarity with Prevailing wage a plus. A willingness to answer phones and schedule clients if necessary. Ultimately, we are looking for a respected team player.
Responsibilities
- Invoicing / Shared
- Payroll & Certified Payroll
- Accounts payable & receivable
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries.
- Constantly update job knowledge
- Call handling with customers, take service requests and resolve problems.
Skills
- Proven accounting experience
- Payroll
- Certified Payroll and/or willingness to learn
- Competency in MS Office and Excel
- QuickBooks accounting software
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Answer phones and schedule clients when necessary
- Well organized
- High school degree
- Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus
Pay:
$ $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
