    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of HR management within the plant facility, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the needs of a manufacturing environment, addressing areas such as safety, attendance, and performance management.
    • Manage HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, and occupational health and safety, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
    • Lead initiatives to improve HR processes and practices, such as onboarding, exiting, staffing, and attendance tracking, to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
    • Collaborate with plant leadership to address workforce planning and talent development needs, including succession planning and skills training.
    • Provide guidance and support to plant managers and supervisors on HR matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
    • Partner with plant leadership to promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
    • Monitor key HR metrics and analyze trends to identify areas for improvement and mitigate risks related to turnover, absenteeism, and compliance.
    • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams and projects as needed to support plant operations and strategic initiatives.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in human resources or a related field.
    • Minimum three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience in HR roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of employment and labor laws, with experience applying them in a plant setting.
    • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, including the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
    • Previous experience as an HR Generalist or Manager in a plant facility.
