MD MATT is a small, local behavioral health office whose mission to make recovery easier for patients.
It is our belief that a positive atittude, teamwork, and empathy can go a long way in helping others achieve their goals.
The Medical Assistant provides support for both our patients and the medical team.
They will assist with the intake of new patients, the processing of claims, inputting authorization information, and overall coordination of care.
The Medical Assistant also has administrative duties answering phones, inputting data, and following up with patients.-
We are seeking the following availability for our Linthicum Location:_
- Tuesday
- Linthicum Location 9:00am4:00pm_
- Thursdays
- Linthicum Location 9:00am 4:00pm_
- Saturdays
- Linthicum_ _Location 8:00am 3:00pm_
This role is for our Linthicum location. If you have the ability to travel to our Dundalk Office and are seeking more hours, we do have shifts available._
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Demonstrate MD MATT's values and beliefs _
Positive Attitude, Teamwork, Empathy and Effort_ in everyday language and interactions. - Provides support and direction for patients
- Assists the Program Director with:
- Intake of New Patients
- Answering Phones
- Scheduling Existing Patients
- Pharmacy Calls
- Admission and discharge planning/coordination.
- Assumes Program Director duties in the absence of the Program Director
- Provides care coordination, including assisting residents in finding counseling, other providers, and pharmacies.
- Inputs and organizes authorization information through Provider Connect
- Processes claims and deposits. Ensures claims are maintained accurately and updated in a timely manner
- Coordinates the overall management of record keeping and insures correspondence with other agencies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Broad knowledge of standard office procedures and skills
- Proficiency in Scheduling, Microsoft Office programs, and data input
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimum supervision

$ $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
