Job Title:
Courier Driver

Work time:
Monday - Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Sample/Specimen Courier. In this role, you will be responsible for picking up and dropping off samples/specimens in the greater Boston Area.

This crucial position ensures the efficient and timely transfer of specimens, contributing to the smooth operation of our histopathology services.

Additional Information:

As part of your responsibilities, you will be required to report to our Salem, MA location in the morning before commencing your route to the Boston area for sample pickups/drop offs.

Additionally, in the afternoon, you will return to our Salem location to deliver any pickups made throughout the day before concluding your duties.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and drop off tissue samples/specimens from designated locations in the greater Boston Area.
• Ensure the safe and secure transportation of samples, maintaining the integrity of the specimens during transit.
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for sample handling and transportation.
• Communicate effectively with laboratory staff and clients regarding sample pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of sample transportation activities, including tracking logs and delivery confirmations.
• Assist in other duties as needed to support the operations of the laboratory.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with the greater Boston Area and ability to navigate efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of sample documentation and handling.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Prior experience in courier or transportation roles preferred, but not required.
