    Job Description

    Job DescriptionCNC Operator Hours: 6am-3:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 6am-10am on FridaysPay Ranges: $18
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Establishes and sets controls to regulate factors such as speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut according to established guidelines and procedures.
    2. Evaluate and validate CNC tools and paths for each component and be able to adjust parameters if needed.
    3. Properly load raw materials and/or parts onto machines
    4. Starts and observes machine operation for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
    5. Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications using measuring and inspection tools.
    6. Performs routine maintenance tasks on machines as required to ensure functionality.
    7. Properly install, calibrate, and test machine tooling.
    8. Inspect components before working on them for correct specifications.
    9. Capacity to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and urgency.
    10. Interpret complex drawings, apply knowledge to solutions, and incorporate changes when deemed necessary.
    11. Effectively interface with internal software such as ERP, drawing viewers, MS Office, and dedicated machine controls.
    12. Perform any other task asked by the supervisor.
    Position Qualifications:
    1. Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices (metric and standard dimensions).
    2. Strong math and problem-solving skills.
    3. Working understanding of computers.
    4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    5. Self-starter and capable of working independently.
    6. Ability and willingness to train others.
    7. Maintain quality standards.
    8. Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs.
    9. MUST have reliable transportation.
