    Job Title: Master Production Planner

    Location: Leominster, North America

    Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

    • Participate in Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE/Master Production Planning) process under the guidance of the S&OE Manager.
    • Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, focusing on long-term capacity planning with the S&OP Manager.
    • Review and input customer forecasts into the ERP system, communicating any concerns to the commercial team.
    • Develop the Master Production Schedule, considering demand, capacity, and materials availability.
    • Manage detailed production schedules and work orders within the ERP system.
    • Utilize ERP systems to track production performance, analyze data, and generate reports.
    • Monitor actual output versus plans, identifying gaps and driving solutions for production performance.
    • Analyze capacity and manufacturing exceptions, ensuring inventory levels support the Manufacturing Plan.
    • Coordinate cross-functional planning meetings to assess throughput and convey updates to the production schedule.
    • Manage shop orders, communicate changes effectively, and ensure material availability.
    • Accountable for inventory management and reduction projects to meet customer demand.
    • Participate in the Aged Inventory Review process, focusing on reducing obsolescence risks.
    • Continuously improve production planning processes and systems for enhanced efficiency.

    Additional Information (Specialized Qualifications / Skills)

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field, or equivalent operational experience.
    • 5+ years experience in Production Planning within manufacturing.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability in process improvements and operational excellence.
    • Knowledge of supply chain best practices and emerging trends.
    • Experience in supply chain planning with multiple ERP systems; familiarity with IFS is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in managing supply operations in multi-product environments.
    • Advanced data analytic skills, including trend analysis and forecasting.
    • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; experience with Business Analytics and Power BI is a plus.
    • Commercial and financial awareness.
    • Proven ability to drive change and process improvements collaboratively.
    • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills across functional areas.
