As a Morning Glory Area/Shift Manager at Amazon, you will lead a large and diverse team and ensure that your business area keeps up with demand.

In this hands-on role, you will become familiar with the complex operations of a global company and learn what it takes to keep everything running smoothly.

Working together with your colleagues, you will strive to increase productivity and overcome challenges. No two days will be the same.

Key job responsibilities:

Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing
Analyze and implement corrective measures to consistently ensure high quality and productivity, as well as crossshift adherence to all company goals
Support and lead a team, as well as handle administrative tasks; build and support a strong team culture
Analyze performance and make suggestions for process improvements to optimize workflows and customer service
Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes

A day in the life:
You will work in different shifts at one of our operational locations. Your main focus will be on ensuring safety standards are met by your team and throughout the entire location. You will also monitor process efficiency. Priorities in your daily work include routine team management and daily operational activities. Other tasks may include handling escalations, process improvements, and overall emergency planning.

As an important member of the operations team, you will work with colleagues from other teams and external partners to ensure that we always meet the requirements of our customers as well as our own standards.
