OVERALL DESCRIPTION:


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Reviews computer generated requests for transfer of materials.
  • Releases materials only when proper documentation is received.
  • Reviews requisitions for accuracy and completion.
  • Rejects requisitions that are not complete.
  • Moves material from bins to truck location when filling requisitions.
  • Prepares shipping manifest as necessary.
  • Searches for stock items at other store locations.
  • Provides runners with emergency material when proper request is made.
  • Utilities PC in order filling/search process.
  • Operates forklift, standup forklift, electric cart, hand truck, and pallet jack to transport material.
  • Performs daily recharging of electric cart; change oil as necessary.
  • Maintains clean storeroom facilities.
  • Performs housekeeping as required.

ADDITIONAL SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have warehouse/inventory/stock clerk experience.
  • Must pass basic math test
  • Must qualify on forklift operations.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
