What to expect in this role at Bohners Lake

You will accompany bridge renewal projects and lead maintenance projects from concept development to completion.
You will monitor the budget and be responsible for meeting target deadlines, including regular reporting.
You will develop concepts considering technological advancements and business aspects, and commission planning.
You will apply for, track, and coordinate approval procedures in collaboration with regulatory authorities.
You will coordinate measures with other departments of the port railway and HPA, select suitable experts and engineering firms, and manage their services.
You will regularly report on the status of measures to your supervisor.
You will arrange and evaluate structural inspections, including static assessments.

You have a degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or can demonstrate equivalent technical expertise.
You have extensive knowledge in bridge construction and experience in strategic planning and implementation of large construction projects in the railway environment.
Ideally, you have knowledge in the areas of track construction, overhead lines, and railway operations.
Your work style is goal-oriented and independent. You collaborate cooperatively with all stakeholders, have a confident demeanor, and possess negotiation skills.
